"Some time ago, in our presence, a contract for the provision of ground handling in Kabul, Kandahar, and Herat international airports was signed between the Ministry of Transport and Aviation and the GAAC, and without a doubt, this had a positive impact on the country's economy," said Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund during the signing of this contract. The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs added that in order to strengthen the economy of the country, we are signing a contract for air guidance services with the GAAC today. It is worth mentioning that with the implementation of this project, air guidance services will be provided on an international level to the planes that pass through Afghanistan's airspace or land at international airports; the safety of the aircraft in this area will be maintained; and the revenue source for transit flights will reopen. This agreement has the status of a commonwealth between the two sides and will be carried out in two phases over ten years.
