Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir Meets with Iranian Interior Minister

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, met with Mr. Ahmad Vahidi, the Minister of Interior Affairs of Iran, during his official visit to Iran today.
Minister Vahidi welcomed the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs to Iran. He emphasized the significance of high-level exchanges between Afghan and Iranian officials in advancing bilateral relations.
Minister Vahidi highlighted Tehran's commitment to expanding its cooperation with the Islamic Emirate in various sectors and noted that enhanced security in Afghanistan has led to significant progress in addressing border-related challenges.

His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, expressed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its assistance in various fields. He emphasized that fostering positive and constructive relations with neighbouring countries is a key component of the Islamic Emirate's foreign policy.

The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the positive relations between Kabul and Tehran, and stated that the Islamic Emirate, as a responsible governing authority, will not permit its territory to be used against neighboring countries or the international community. He also reiterated the Islamic Emirate's ongoing efforts to engage in regional development.
