The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan vehemently condemns the recent declarations made by officials of the Israeli Zionist regime regarding their intention to build a synagogue within the sacred precincts of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
These declarations starkly reveal the Zionist regime’s blatant disregard for the sanctity of religious sites, international laws, and global principles. Such actions not only violate these fundamental tenets but also threaten to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla of Muslims and a holy site revered by millions around the world. These reckless and oppressive statements inflict deep emotional wounds upon the global Muslim community.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan reaffirms that the entire territory of Palestine, including Al-Aqsa Mosque, rightfully belongs to the Palestinian people. Al-Aqsa is, and will always remain, the first Qibla for Muslims.
We urgently call upon the leaders of the Islamic world, as well as international countries and organizations, to unite against the unjust and barbaric aggressions perpetrated by the usurping Zionist regime in Palestine. It is imperative to halt the ongoing genocide and crimes against humanity in Gaza and to ensure that the Israeli authorities refrain from making such irresponsible and inflammatory statements.
