Statement of the Islamic Emirate on the 23rd Anniversary of the commencement of American Invasion

Twenty-three years ago, the United States invaded Afghanistan with extensive oppression and violence.

The US occupation lasted for twenty years, during which a multitude of atrocities occurred, leading to thousands of Afghan lives lost, countless injuries, and widespread displacement and homelessness. It severely damaged our economy and imposed its puppet rulers on the Afghan nation.

However, the Muslim and Mujahid nation of Afghanistan responded with determination. Under the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, the Afghan nation engaged in Jihad. After two decades of struggle, sacrifice, patience, and resilience, the occupying US forces were defeated, and the mujahideen achieved victory, Al-hamdulillah.

We are profoundly grateful that the US occupation has now come to an end and an Islamic system has been established and Afghanistan is recognized as an independent and free nation. This is indeed a cause for immense gratitude and joy.

While we remember and pray for all the martyrs, the wounded, and those who have suffered, we urge our nation to be resolutely prepared to defend their faith and beliefs in the future, continuing the legacy of their ancestors.
