H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, traveled to Laghman Province today at the head of a delegation.
During the visit, he was accompanied by Mawlawi Najibullah Hayat Haqqani, Minister of Urban Development and Housing. The Deputy Prime Minister met with the Deputy Governor of Laghman Province and a number of local officials, and closely reviewed the working conditions of government institutions.
H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi emphasized improving the performance of government institutions, delivering better services to the public, and ensuring the security of citizens. He called on officials to demonstrate greater commitment in carrying out their duties.
He stated that officials should address the problems and affairs of the people with good conduct.
The Deputy Prime Minister also reviewed issues related to migrants and instructed the relevant authorities to take serious and effective measures, in coordination with one another, to resolve their problems and to provide necessary facilities, particularly regarding the distribution of land plots.
