H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, hosted a joint Iftar at the Arg with a number of the country’s political analysts and media figures.

The gathering was also attended by Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, Chief of Staff of the Office of the Prime Minister, and Sheikh Mahmood Zakiri, Head of Political and Public Affairs.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi welcomed the participants and thanked them for clearly explaining the policies of the Islamic Emirate and consistently defending both Islamic and national interests.

Following this, Ustad Mohammad Zaman Muzammil, Hamidullah Hotak, Hashim Alokozai, Dr. Fazl Minallah Mumtaz, and Dr. Zalmai Afghanyar, speaking on behalf of the participants, condemned the recent attacks by Pakistan’s military regime on Afghanistan’s territory and reaffirmed their full support for the Islamic Emirate.

They stated that Afghanistan seeks good relations with all neighboring countries; however, since its territory and national sovereignty were violated, the Islamic Emirate gave a retaliatory response, fully supported by all segments of the nation.

The political analysts lauded the Islamic Emirate’s measures to address these threats and praised its success in passing this test, noting that the nation stood united against a shared enemy.

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi commended the political analysts for their active role and thanked them for their advice and recommendations.

He stated that the current Islamic system is the result of the nation’s sacrifices and that all remain united in its protection. He added that the Islamic Emirate’s positive achievements will be strengthened, and efforts to realize remaining goals will continue collectively through consultation.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Afghanistan does not seek conflict or problems with anyone and wishes to maintain good relations with neighboring countries, regional states, and the world based on mutual respect. At the same time, he stressed that any violation of the country’s national sovereignty obliges all to defend the people and the Islamic system.

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed sorrow over civilian casualties in the recent attacks, noting that the conflict was imposed upon them. He added that, with the support and consultation of the nation, the Islamic Emirate has so far successfully confronted the existing threats.
