The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, attended and delivered an address at the graduation ceremony of scholars from Muhammadiyah Darul-Uloom in Kabul.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Acting Minister for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, alongside deputies, distinguished scholars, government officials, and a substantial gathering of citizens.
Commencing the event, Sheikh Muhammad Khalid Hanafi, Acting Minister for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, extended his congratulations to the graduating scholars. He emphasized that the pursuit of knowledge should align with seeking the pleasure of Allah and committing to the service of the nation.
In his address, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Kabir congratulated the scholars on their academic achievements. He remarked that the Afghan people, through governance in their homeland, have successfully implemented Sharia law and established a foundation of peace.
He further underscored that, following the victory of the Islamic Emirate, universities have been made accessible to madrasa students, and modern education institutions have opened their doors to students from madrasas.
His Excellency also highlighted the expanding political and economic relations of the Islamic Emirate, noting that numerous countries maintain favorable relations with the Afghan government.
Additionally, he urged host nations to refrain from the forcible expulsion of Afghan refugees, advocating instead for their voluntary return to their homeland.
Addressing economic matters, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir emphasized the Islamic Emirate's initiatives to promote economic growth, contrasting its efforts with those of previous regimes. He affirmed the commitment to leveraging domestic resources for production and self-sufficiency.
Concluding the ceremony, His Excellency once again extended his congratulations to the graduates and presented them with monetary gifts as tokens of recognition.
