The fourteen-day visit of His Excellency, the Amirul Mominin (May Allah Protect Him), to the northern provinces has come to a close

On the 24th of Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to the 28 August 2024, His Excellency, the Amirul Mominin (May Allah Protect Him), embarked on his tour of the northern provinces. Throughout the duration of this visit, he traversed 11 provinces situated in the west, north, northeast, and northwest regions, including Herat, Badghis, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e Pol, Balkh, Samangan, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, and Badakhshan.

In each of these provinces, he convened separate meetings with thousands of scholars, mujahideen, senior religious figures, and the officials of the provincial administrations.

The journey was undertaken by land, with His Excellency traveling in vehicles, accompanied by the governors of the respective provinces, as well as the police chiefs, intelligence chiefs, corps commanders, and other senior officials. His Excellency, the Commander of the Faithful (May Allah Protect Him), called upon scholars, officials, mujahideen, and the general populace to uphold unity, concord, brotherhood, and strict adherence to Sharia law. He underscored the necessity of remaining united and steadfast in support of the Islamic government, just as they had demonstrated unwavering resolve during the 20-year occupation.

In his speeches to the scholars and officials, His Excellency emphasized that scholars should guide the populace through reformative and truthful sermons, while officials must prioritize justice and the implementation of Sharia law. He also extended an offer of amnesty to former employees of the previous administration, encouraging them to return to Afghanistan and live with dignity, as the honor found within one’s homeland is unparalleled elsewhere.

His Excellency provided specific guidance to all officials and mujahideen, urging them to demonstrate respect and gratitude towards the families of martyrs, the disabled, the mujahideen, and the broader Afghan population. He emphasized the importance of offering educational and training opportunities for their children, as well as facilitating public services to prevent undue hardships in government offices. Furthermore, he instructed officials to care for those who had provided them shelter during the war, often at great personal risk, many of whom lost their lives as a result of bombings or nocturnal raids.

During the course of the journey, His Excellency visited the 207 Al-Farooq, 209 Al-Fath, and 217 Omari Corps, as well as several religious and jihadi madrasas, mosques, and sacred sites. He delivered speeches to thousands of mujahideen, teachers, and students of the madrasas. Additionally, while visiting the graves of martyrs, he offered prayers for their souls.

This visit concluded on the 8th of Rabi' al-Awwal, corresponding to the 11 September 2024.
