His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, accompanied by his delegation, met this morning with a group of Afghan residents, businesspeople, and investors residing in the city of Termez.
This meeting, conducted at the Islamic Emirate’s consulate and attended by the Emirate’s Consul General along with other officials in Termez, commenced with Afghan residents, businesspeople, and investors warmly welcoming the Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation. During the reception, they articulated their concerns, requests, and proposals.
In addition, they advanced recommendations to the Islamic Emirate officials aimed at enhancing trade exchanges between the two nations.
H.E Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed his pleasure in engaging with Afghan residents, businesspeople, and investors in Termez. He underscored that the Islamic Emirate is steadfast in its efforts to ensure the provision of requisite facilities and opportunities for investors and businesspeople.
The Deputy Prime Minister further highlighted that the Islamic Emirate has now established extensive provisions to facilitate trade and investment. He encouraged attendees to capitalize on these opportunities by investing in diverse sectors within Afghanistan.
Accompanied by the governor of Surkhandarya and other officials, H.E Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi and his delegation also undertook a visit to the joint border market.
Moreover, during discussions between the Islamic Emirate delegation and the authorities of Surkhandarya Province, a range of topics was addressed. It was mutually agreed that bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, particularly in the sphere of trade, would be further expanded and fortified.
