His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, during his official visit to Jawzjan Province, paid a visit to the Jihadi Madrasa.
In the course of the visit, His Excellency convened meetings and held discussions with the administrative officials, teaching staff, and students of the madrasa. In his address, he stated that the provision of comprehensive educational and welfare facilities to institutions such as the Jihadi Madrasa of Jawzjan is attributable to the blessings of governance based upon Sharia law, the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the contributions of religious scholars, and the sacrifices of thousands of martyrs who endeavored for the expulsion of occupying forces, the establishment of an Islamic system of governance, and the implementation of Sharia law within the country. He further emphasized that students bear the responsibility to make appropriate and effective use of the facilities, as well as the time and opportunities made available to them.
In a subsequent portion of his remarks addressed to the students, His Excellency underscored the importance of maintaining due respect for teachers, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy toward instructors and fellow students, refraining from arrogance and pride, and pursuing the acquisition of contemporary sciences and practical skills alongside their primary religious studies. He also advised that students should devote official hours to their principal academic responsibilities and utilize non-official hours for the pursuit of additional fields of knowledge.
In conclusion, His Excellency offered prayers for the continued success of the administrative officials, teaching staff, and students of the Jihadi Madrasa of Jawzjan. He characterized them as valuable national assets and as prospective leaders and servants of Afghanistan and the Islamic system of governance. He further stated that the attainment of such roles is contingent upon the acquisition of knowledge and skills, and that without education and learning, the realization of these objectives would not be possible.
