The Political Commission, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, convened today at the Spidar Palace.
The agenda encompassed deliberations on bilateral relations with neighboring states, the enhancement of diplomatic engagements with other nations, and an assessment of recent geopolitical developments within Afghanistan and the broader region. Decisive resolutions were adopted in accordance with the outlined priorities.
During the proceedings, the Commission reaffirmed Afghanistan’s status as a sovereign entity, emphasizing its duty to safeguard national integrity and its inherent right to self-defense. The Islamic Emirate reiterated its commitment to seeking regional stability and order, highlighting the need of averting actions that exacerbate tensions or jeopardize security.
