Mullah Baradar Akhund expressed Afghanistan's commitment to expanding political, economic, transit, and trade relationships with Iran based on its economy-centric foreign policy.
Vice President Mohammad Mokhber echoed the desire to enhance relations and create a roadmap for boosting political, economic, commercial, and transit links. He emphasized the need for both countries to implement agreements, collaborate on environmental protection, manage drought and water resources.
Mohammad Mokhber also affirmed Iran's readiness to increase Afghanistan's imports and exports through Chabahar port, offering technological support in agriculture and industry. Both nations were encouraged to utilize their national currencies in trade, and the development of highways and roads was deemed necessary to enhance trade and transit.
Mullah Baradar Akhund expressed gratitude for Iran's hospitality towards Afghan refugees and requested their proper care and attention to their problems.
The meeting concluded with both sides condemning the actions of the Israeli government in Palestine and calling upon the Islamic world to denounce such acts.
