H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs chaired the meeting of the Political Commission of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan yesterday at Sapedar Palace.
Participants in the meeting included members of the Political Commission, Qari Fasihuddin Fetrat, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense, and Mawlawi Mohammad Ibrahim Sadr, Senior Deputy for Security at the Ministry of Interior, who addressed the political and security challenges in Afghanistan and the region.
In the meeting, participants addressed several key topics outlined in the agenda, including the execution of major regional projects, the security of border areas, the enhancement of social conditions, and the strengthening of international relations with various countries.
The Political Commission reiterated that Afghanistan is committed to securing its borders and ports and will not permit anyone to cause harm to other countries from its territory.
Additionally, members of the Political Commission expressed concern regarding the growing crisis in the Middle East and reaffirmed their commitment to support the just cause of Palestine and the Islamic World.
