H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, returned to the country today morning along with his accompanying delegation, after participating in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the funeral ceremony of martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Doha.
Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir traveled to Tehran last week and participated in the swearing in ceremony of Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the newly elected President of Iran. Subsequently, he traveled to Qatar and attended the funeral ceremony of martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the former Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau.
During the trips, Deputy Prime Minister met with a number of Iranian officials, Afghan nationals, and diplomats from the US and Europe based in Doha.
