The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs meets with tribal leaders of Mirzaka district

His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met today with a group of tribal leaders and dignitaries from Mirzaka district of Paktia.

In the course of the meeting, leaders of Mirzaka district articulated their satisfaction with the prevailing security conditions in their region and formally petitioned the Islamic Emirate to initiate further development projects, particularly within remote areas. Additionally, the tribal leaders from Mirzaka called for the resumption of halted construction on the district’s central mosque, the resolution of outstanding legal matters associated with dryland agriculture, and the Islamic Emirate’s concerted attention to other challenges afflicting Mirzaka district.

Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Mawlavi Abdul Kabir received the tribal leaders and dignitaries from Mirzaka district and emphasized that, having established security as the people’s primary need, the Islamic Emirate is now resolutely committed to advancing the nation’s economic self-sufficiency. He affirmed that efforts would be directed towards identifying viable approaches to complete the unfinished construction of Mirzaka’s central mosque.

Concluding the meeting, H.E. Mawlavi Abdul Kabir underscored that all local officials have been instructed to respond expeditiously to the people’s demands and are fully engaged in ensuring timely responses.
