Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Meets High-Ranking Delegation of Scholars from Uzbekistan

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs met with a high-ranking delegation of scholars from Uzbekistan while Mr. Sheikh al-Quran and Hadith Mawlawi Noor Muhammad Saqib, the acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, was also present.
During the meeting, Mufti Sheikh Nooruddin Khaliq head of the Uzbek delegation stated that the purpose of their visit is to strengthen and expand relations between the two countries. He emphasized that Uzbekistan and Afghanistan share religious, historical, and cultural commonalities, which can serve as a foundation for enhancing relations in various fields.
