Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Attends and Addresses the Graduation Ceremony in Andkhoy District

The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, attended and delivered remarks at the graduation ceremony of the third cohort of graduates from Jamia Dar-ul-Uloom Madrasa and Dar-ul-Huffaz Umari in Andkhoy District of Faryab Province.

The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Mawlavi Ataullah Omari; the Governor of Faryab Province, Mawlavi Abdul Ahad Fazli; as well as respected elders, scholars, and provincial officials. At the beginning of the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs extended his congratulations to the graduates, their families, the madrasa administration, scholars, and teachers, and stated that religious scholars play a fundamental role in social reform, the promotion of Islamic values, and the preservation of unity among the people.

The Deputy Prime Minister further stated that the pursuit of religious knowledge, particularly the memorization of the Holy Qur’an and the study of Prophetic traditions, places significant responsibility upon scholars, and that it is essential for graduates to serve religion and society with sincerity, piety, and through the practical application of their knowledge.

In addition, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi commended the efforts of the madrasa’s administrators and teachers and emphasized that the Islamic Emirate supports educational and religious institutions and accords special attention to the development and strengthening of educational centers.

It is noteworthy that during this ceremony, 44 memorizers of the Holy Qur’an and scholars of Hadith successfully completed their studies and graduated.
