H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met this morning with Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi, the newly appointed Governor of Jowzjan Province.
During the meeting, the governor briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on his previous work and activities, and shared his plans and programs aimed at serving the people of Jowzjan Province. He noted that during his years of service, he consistently worked to provide effective services in the areas of security, social affairs, education, health, and other sectors, and emphasized that he will dedicate all his efforts to serving the people of Jowzjan in his new role.
H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi welcomed Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi and commended his efforts and performance during his tenure in Bamyan Province. He stated that officials of the Islamic Emirate, both at the center and in the provinces, consider themselves responsible for sincere service to the people.
He further emphasized that ensuring security, addressing public concerns, strengthening unity and solidarity, and facilitating services in various aspects of life are among the key priorities of the Islamic Emirate. The Deputy Prime Minister also stressed that governors and local officials are obliged to treat people with respect, listen closely to their concerns, and work in coordination with relevant departments to resolve their problems.
H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed hope that Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi will carry out his responsibilities in Jowzjan Province with the same spirit of service as in Bamyan, and take effective steps toward ensuring the welfare and well-being of the people of the province.
