The Economic Commission, led by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, held a regular meeting at the Marmarin Palace to discuss various important topics outlined in the agenda. Following a thorough discussion, a decision was reached that the Ministry of Finance will issue the remaining invoice to the contractor company responsible for completing the outstanding tasks of the power dam located in the Manogi district of Kunar province. The contractor company is then obligated to settle its outstanding debts based on the received invoice. The construction progress of the mentioned dam currently stands at 97.7% and is expected to be finalized soon. This dam has a power generation capacity of 2.1 megawatts, which will provide electricity to approximately 4000 families. Furthermore, the Economic Commission assigned a committee under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, comprising representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Urban Development and Housing, and Economy. This committee's responsibility is to conduct meetings with the stakeholders of Boustan Sabz Agriculture and Livestock Company. Their objective is to determine the legal status of the company and explore possibilities for its reactivation. In the event that the shareholders are not available, the committee will meet with their legally authorized representatives and make diligent efforts to revive the company.
