The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, visited the Martyrs’ Park of this province as well as the headworks of the Qosh Tepa Canal.
During this visit, the Minister of Public Health, Alhaj Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Governor of Balkh, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Yusuf Wafa, and a number of officials of the Islamic Emirate accompanied the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs.
His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi first offered prayers at the Martyrs’ Memorial and described the Islamic government as the outcome of countless sacrifices made by religious scholars, reciters of the Holy Qur’an, the Taliban, and various segments of Afghan society.
He further stated that the Islamic Emirate holds the blood of the martyrs in the highest regard and will never permit their sacrifices to be disregarded.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs described major projects such as the Qosh Tepa Canal as significant for Afghanistan’s development, economic growth, and self-sufficiency, adding that the Islamic Emirate remains committed to the effective implementation of large national projects across the country.
His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, along with the accompanying delegation, also inspected the ongoing construction works of the Qosh Tepa Canal headworks and instructed the relevant authorities to ensure the timely completion of the project.
