H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, attended the inauguration of the newly built Mir Abdul Karim Agha Grand Mosque in Kabul’s 10th District yesterday evening.
In his address, he praised the efforts of the mosque’s financial supporters and contributors, emphasizing the respected status of mosque builders in Islam.
The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the ongoing development initiatives of the Islamic Emirate and mentioned that alongside other major infrastructure projects, many mosques are being rebuilt every year. He reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to preserving Islamic values, promoting self-sufficiency, and maintaining positive relations with other countries while defending national and religious principles.
He also encouraged the local community to perform their prayers at the mosque and participate in charitable activities.
The mosque was built by Afghan Businessman Mr. Haji Bismillah, and the inauguration was attended by Islamic Emirate officials, traders, and local residents.
