H.E. Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, arrived in Herat city today morning, leading a high-level delegation. The Prime Minister of IEA will participate in the inauguration ceremonies for the TAPI pipeline, as well as various development projects, including those related to oil, gas, energy, and transportation between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
Upon arrival at Herat International Airport, H.E. the Prime Minister was warmly welcomed by the governor, local officials, religious scholars, and tribal leaders.
Following his arrival in Herat, H.E. the Prime Minister will travel to Islim Cheshmeh and Mary regions in Turkmenistan to attend the commencement and inauguration ceremonies for the TAPI pipeline and other significant development projects between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
