The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met this morning, during his visit to Faryab Province, with a number of traders and investors from the province.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari; the Governor of Faryab Province, Mawlawi Abdul Ahad Fazli; and a number of other local officials. During the meeting, traders and investors expressed satisfaction with the services provided by the authorities and with the efforts of the Islamic Emirate to facilitate trade and investment through the provision of necessary facilities. They described these important measures as being in the interest of all Afghans.
They regarded the provision of security as a source of public satisfaction and stated that the creation of a favorable environment for trade and investment in the country has encouraged an increased presence of domestic and foreign traders and investors.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, stated that the Islamic Emirate is committed to economic growth and to the creation of the necessary conditions for national development, and that it is undertaking serious efforts in this regard.
He further noted that the Islamic Emirate has assessed all factors contributing to the growth of trade and investment in the country and will implement additional important measures to support traders and investors.
His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi also addressed the issue of returnees and called upon all citizens, particularly traders and investors, to provide assistance to returnees in accordance with their capacity so that they may withstand the harsh winter without difficulty and continue their daily lives.
