On August 26, 2024, the fourth meeting of the Cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held under the chairmanship of Al-Haj Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, where several important issues were discussed and decisions were made.
The Cabinet meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Following the agenda, the Ministry of Public Health was tasked with controlling drug prices to prevent them from being sold at a higher price than their original cost and directing all pharmacies to sell medicines at a reasonable price and to avoid taking advantage of people in need.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Interior Affairs was instructed to collaborate with relevant organizations to focus on preventing human trafficking and take necessary measures in this regard.
The Cabinet meeting concluded with a prayer for the well-being of the community.
