His Excellency Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, marked the advent of the new solar year 1404 and the arrival of spring by planting a sapling in the courtyard of the Arg.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, General Director of the Prime Minister’s Office; Mufti Sayed Ahmad Mustaqim, Deputy of Resources and Administration of the General Directorate of the Prime Minister’s Office; and Qari Abdul Sattar Saeed, Deputy for Public and Strategic Relations of the General Directorate of the Prime Minister’s Office, alongside other dignitaries of the Islamic Emirate.
The event concluded with a prayer led by Qari Sahib Mohammad Hanif, preacher of the Arg Grand Mosque, invoking blessings for the nation’s prosperity, well-being, and environmental sustainability.
