H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs during his visit to Kapisa province participated in a large gathering and delivered remarks.
The gathering was also attended by the Chief of Army Staff of the Defense Ministry, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of vice, local officials from the province, esteemed scholars, Mujahideen, tribal elders, influential figures, and youth.
Qari Ihsanullah Baryal, the Governor of Kapisa, welcomed the guests and said that they have always conveyed the demands of the people to the leaders of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and today the officials and leaders have come to listen closely to your demands and suggestions.
H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs in his speech commemorated the sacrifices of the Mujahideen against the Russian forces, as well as their resistance over the past two decades against the United States and NATO forces and said that the aspiration of Mujahideen was the establishment of an Islamic system in the country.
He said it is a great pleasure to witness the establishment of an Islamic system in our country today.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs stated that this system was established through innumerable sacrifices and stressed that all of us must work towards its preservation. He added that necessary attention will be given to the activation of the Gulbahar textile factory and the rehabilitation of the Baghdara and Tagab Mia Khil dams.
Mr. Qari Fasihauddin Fetrat, the Chief of Army Staff of the Ministry of Defense, emphasized the substantial contributions of the Islamic Emirate's defense and security forces over the past twenty years. He specifically underscored their crucial role in fostering national unity, maintaining comprehensive security across the country, and safeguarding the nation's territorial integrity following their victory.
Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Faqir, the Deputy Minister for the Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of vice stated that this ministry encourages the people to do good and prohibits them from engaging in immoral acts. He urged the ministry's inspectors to carry out their duties with kindness and precision.
Sheikh Khwaja Mohammad Fareed, a notable scholar from Kapisa Province, remarked that the elders' attention to Amir al-Mu'minin's amnesty decree has successfully thwarted numerous conspiracies. He also emphasized that focusing on the Gulbahar textile factory and the Baghdara dam would lead to increased employment opportunities.
Subsequently, Sheikh Ihsanullah Nasih, the head of the Ulama Council of Kapisa, expressed gratitude for the approval of the 130-kilometer road to the province by the IEA and assured support from the people of Kapisa for the Islamic system.
