H.E. Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), chaired the 16th Cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, after which important economic, security, social, and cultural matters of the country were discussed and several decisions were taken.
During the meeting, it was decided that the customs duty concession for left-hand drive, single-steering vehicles in Afghanistan would be extended, with certain reductions, until the end of the 1405 Hijri Solar year.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister was tasked with holding meetings with the relevant institutions and traders regarding the import of certain goods, in order to ensure transparency and give due consideration to the quantity and quality of imported items.
It is noteworthy that after detailed discussions and deliberations on a number of issues, the Cabinet meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
