His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, convened with representatives of the Livestock Farms Association at the Spidar Palace.
During the meeting, the representatives provided an overview of the association, highlighting that the milk market in Kabul has achieved self-sufficiency, with approximately 200 farms currently in operation. They urged the prohibition of low-quality powdered milk imports and stressed the necessity for production facilities to utilize pure, locally-sourced milk to guarantee the provision of high-quality dairy products to the populace. Furthermore, they delineated the challenges confronting the association and its farms.
H.E Mawlavi Abdul Kabir expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Livestock Farms Association in Kabul, reaffirming the Islamic Emirate's commitment to fostering the growth of domestic industries and supporting investors.
In closing, the Deputy Prime Minister assured the representatives that their concerns would be conveyed to the relevant authorities for appropriate resolution.
