His Highness, the Amir al-Mu'minin (may Allah protect him), Convenes with the Governor of Paktia Province and Provincial Officials of the Emirate

His Highness, the Amir al-Mu'minin (may Allah protect him), convened with Mullah Mehrullah Hamad, the Governor of Paktia, the head of the Scholars' Council, the provincial police chief, the head of intelligence, and directors of all Emirate institutions operating within the province.

The session commenced with the recitation of select verses from the Holy Quran. Following this, Governor Mullah Mehrullah Hamad, speaking on behalf of the assembled officials, provided His Highness with a comprehensive account of the current provincial conditions and the operational status of Emirate institutions.

Subsequently, His Highness, the Amir al-Mu'minin (may Allah protect him), addressed the assembly. He commended the provincial leadership’s performance and affirmed that a significant opportunity had been divinely bestowed. He urged gratitude to Allah for facilitating an environment conducive to knowledge, religious practice, Islamic service, unity, solidarity, fraternity, and faith. He underscored the collective duty to safeguard and uphold this environment.

His Highness instructed all officials to approach their responsibilities with full diligence, eschew complacency, and remain prepared for personal sacrifice in the enforcement of the Sharia system. He emphasized the necessity of steadfastness in executing Islamic and Sharia directives, particularly Amr bil Ma'ruf wa Nahi an al-Munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil), which he identified as the foundational objective of Islam. He also stressed the imperative of Sharia compliance in the economic, political, and military sectors.

He called for robust interdepartmental coordination, unwavering obedience to leadership, and productive engagement with ministers and senior administrators, stressing that adherence to ministerial directives is compulsory and must be observed with utmost seriousness.

His Highness, the Amir al-Mu'minin, further emphasized that officials bear a duty of service to the populace. Just as the people had supported the Mujahideen during jihad, now the obligation falls on officials to serve them in return. He directed them to work diligently to address local grievances, eradicate disputes, resolve tribal tensions, and reinforce public security. He particularly highlighted the necessity of community reconciliation.

The meeting concluded with a collective supplication for the stability of the system and the well-being of the people.
