Meeting Follows Up on 13 Decisions of the Economic Commission Led by His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him)

H.E. Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, chaired the meeting of the Economic Commission, which was held today at the Marmarine Palace.

The meeting aimed to review progress on the 13 decisions from the extraordinary Economic Commission session, led by His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him). During the session, relevant ministries and agencies presented their reports and proposed procedures.

A committee, chaired by the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, was tasked with developing a comprehensive plan for the legal and systematic distribution of state-owned lands, designated for housing and commercial use, that have been partially developed under the urban planning initiative.

The committee was tasked with creating a detailed plan for residential townships, which were cleared and recognised as state property by the Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing, to be transferred to the public for development in accordance with the urban plan.

The decisions highlighted the need to ease the construction process on private lands according to the urban plan, providing necessary facilities. The committee developed a comprehensive procedure for this and presented it at today’s special Economic Commission meeting.

The committee has significantly supported construction on private lands. In accordance with the special Economic Commission's decision led by His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him), the Ministry of Agriculture has begun transferring lands across the country to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for industrial park development, with the process nearing completion and construction set to begin shortly.

During the meeting, relevant ministries and agencies presented their reports and procedures for implementing the 13 decisions from the extraordinary Economic Commission session led by the His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him). These reports and procedures will be submitted to the His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) for approval.
