H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, met with tribal elders from the Amarkhil tribe of Nangarhar province and a number of elders from Mohammad Agha district of Logar.
The elders of the Amarkhil tribe of Nangarhar province expressed that the Islamic system is a long-awaited hope of Afghan people and emphasized that its protection is a shared responsibility of the government and the people. They also presented a proposal to the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs to resolve a local issue.
The elders from Logar province emphasized the critical need for unity and stability, recognizing that the Islamic system has brought much-needed security and fostered stronger cooperation between the government and the people. They reiterated their unwavering support for the system's preservation. Additionally, the elders from Mohammad Agha district proposed key infrastructure projects, including a road, electricity, and a mosque for Zargoon Shahr village, to improve the community's living conditions.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir welcomed the elders from Nangarhar and Logar and reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate's commitment to improving the living conditions of the Afghan people. He noted that numerous development projects are included in the national budget each year, with some already underway, and that efforts will continue to address the people’s needs over time.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs reiterated the Islamic Emirate's commitment to protecting citizens' rights. He also honoured the sacrifices made by the Afghan people in securing the Islamic system and independence, vowing they would never be forgotten.
