Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Meets with the Officials of the Private Schools Union

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met with Qazi Ghulam Sakhi, head of the National Private Schools Union and officials from the Kabul Province Private Schools Union.
During the meeting, officials reported that there are 3,750 private schools operating in Afghanistan, educating over 1.5 million students. They additionally mentioned that ten of the leading students in last year’s Kankor exam came from private schools.
The officials highlighted the strong collaboration between private schools and the Ministry of Education, and they provided an overview of the challenges faced, along with suggestions for enhancement.
Deputy Prime Minister commended the role of private schools in educating the youth and reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate's support in addressing the challenges they face.
