H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met yesterday evening with officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment and a delegation of national traders.
During the meeting, they discussed the country’s economic situation, trade, and investment, highlighting that the key priorities for traders and investors are the protection of their lives and property, government support, and facilitation of business operations. They noted that the Islamic Emirate has effectively ensured their security, encouraging and motivating greater investment in the country.
The Chamber of Commerce and Investment officials, together with the traders, underscored the importance of logistics and goods transportation in trade, and urged the Islamic Emirate to prioritize the development of commercial transport and connectivity infrastructure.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and emphasized that traders and investors play a vital role in the country’s development and progress.
He added that the Islamic Emirate has created opportunities for investment in various sectors, including exports, manufacturing, and mining, for both domestic and foreign investors.
The Deputy Prime Minister, reaffirming the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to supporting traders and investors, encouraged national entrepreneurs to capitalize on available opportunities and help advance the country’s development.
