Deputy Prime Minister Offers Condolences at Iranian Embassy

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, accompanied by officials, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul to offer condolences on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei, members of his family, officials, citizens, and students.

The Deputy Prime Minister extended condolences to the government and people of Iran, stating that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Afghan people condemn the recent aggression against Iran and its people.

He noted that the conflict has disproportionately affected ordinary civilians, causing casualties and broader regional repercussions. Expressing concern over the continuation of the violence, he emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities and stressed that all issues should be resolved through dialogue and diplomatic means rather than war.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister signed the condolence book in honor of the victims.
