The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E Mawlavi Abdul Kabir met with the representative and several foreign staff members of the Shelter Now International Organization.
The representative of Shelter Now International Organization stated that over the past four decades, alongside providing assistance to Afghans in the sectors of healthcare, education, and water supply, the organization has also launched emergency aid initiatives. They have extended support to those in need in Herat, Nangarhar, and several other provinces.
They further noted ongoing efforts to secure financial resources to finalize current projects and sustain the aid initiatives.
The representative of Shelter Now International Organization submitted a proposal to H.E the Deputy Prime Minister, highlighting some of the challenges the organization faces. They emphasized that many charitable institutions and individuals abroad are committed to assisting Afghans.
H.E Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, while welcoming the representative and staff members of Shelter Now International Organization, commended their efforts and contributions in Afghanistan.
H.E the Deputy Prime Minister, reaffirmed that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan endorses the work of all cooperating organizations and will, to the extent possible, provide the necessary facilities.
H.E Mawlavi Abdul Kabir further remarked that the relevant departments of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan would take appropriate measures to address the challenges encountered by the organization.
