The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met earlier today with elders and community leaders from the Gurziwan and Belcheragh districts of Faryab Province.
At the beginning of the meeting, the visiting elders and community leaders briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the social and security situation in Gurziwan and Belcheragh. They expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the Mujahideen and local officials in strengthening security and addressing the challenges faced by residents of those districts.
They identified the construction of standard roads and health clinics, along with the resolution of telecommunications and electricity issues, as essential needs of the local communities, and conveyed their requests to the officials of the Islamic Emirate.
Welcoming the visiting elders, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that security is a fundamental prerequisite for development and progress in any society, and that, by the grace of Allah, security has been ensured nationwide with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, enabling citizens to continue their daily affairs with confidence.
Regarding their proposals, the Deputy Prime Minister said that officials of the Islamic Emirate have taken necessary measures within available resources and will make every effort to resolve these issues as well.
