H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met a number of traders and investors from Bahrain and Russia at the Spidar Palace.
During the meeting, the investors expressed their eagerness to invest in Afghanistan, particularly in the field of mining, aviation security, professional training, and health. They added that the supportive investment environment provided by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have encouraged foreign companies to participate in the Afghan market.
H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir welcomed the investors and traders, stressing that since the Islamic Emirate took power, there has been a strong emphasis on economic development, with considerable progress made in the past three years. He expressed appreciation to the traders and investors from Bahrain and Russia for their interest and assured them that the Islamic Emirate has put in place the necessary facilities and conditions for investment.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the valuable job opportunities available in Afghanistan that should be capitalized on. He mentioned that important projects are currently in progress mainly in oil extraction, minerals, pharmaceuticals, and the construction of dams and roads.
