The Chief of Staff of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, met today before noon at the Arg with a delegation of youths from the northern and northeastern provinces.
At the outset, the Head of the Political and Public Affairs Department of the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Sheikh Mahmood Zakari, while welcoming the youths, stated that young people serve as a bridge between the nation and the government and, just as they convey the people’s problems to the government, they should also deliver the voice of the government to the nation.
Subsequently, Fakhruddin Fakhri, Syed Imran Mujaddidi, and Syed Sadiqullah Sarem, on behalf of the other youths, shared their concerns and proposals regarding improving the academic level of youths, investing in youth, supporting innovative and disabled youths, and paying attention to equipping healthcare centers in the aforementioned provinces.
The Chief of Staff of the Office of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, while welcoming them, stated that youths constitute the backbone of society and that their sound upbringing guarantees the establishment of a healthy society.
Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi added that just as youths fought with strong determination against occupation, their role in safeguarding the Islamic Sharia law-based government is now equally important.
Referring to the need for youths to possess a national vision and work for the country in unity, he added that there is no discrimination in the policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The Chief of Staff of the Office of the Prime Minister stated that with the establishment of the Islamic Sharia law-based governance, nationwide security has been ensured, and economic activities and development projects are underway throughout the country.
At the conclusion, Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi assured the youths of the northern and northeastern provinces that their demands and proposals would be given due consideration.
