Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Visits Qosh Tepa District

His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, traveled to Qosh Tepa District of Jawzjan Province.

During this visit, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the “Chaharsai” martyrs’ area and offered prayers for the martyrs. He subsequently visited a madrasa in the area and encouraged the students to pursue religious education.

In the course of this visit, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi met, in the Zamard Sai oil region, with a number of officials from security organizations and civilian administrations of Qosh Tepa and Darzab districts of Jawzjan Province, as well as religious scholars, tribal elders, and youth.

He recalled the sacrifices and dedication of the residents and Mujahideen of these districts during the occupation, particularly noting the martyrdom of four thousand Mujahideen during the former Soviet occupation. He stated that the Islamic Emirate achieved victory through divine support and the sacrifices of the Mujahideen and the Afghan Mujahid nation.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that with the end of the occupation, Afghans attained genuine independence, the preservation and continuity of which require unity and cohesion among devout Afghans.

His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi noted that officials of the Islamic Emirate are striving to address the people’s challenges across all sectors.

The Deputy Prime Minister further added that a subsidiary canal from the Qosh Tepa Canal is under construction to supply irrigation water for agriculture and drinking water for Sheberghan city.

Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated that various development projects are underway during the current year and that these projects will be implemented successively across the country.

Residents of Qosh Tepa District warmly welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister and stated that peace and security, long-standing aspirations of the people, have been ensured with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate.

They also referred to the approval of road asphalting projects in Qosh Tepa and Darzab districts, as well as the transmission of electrical energy to these districts and other key areas, and expressed their appreciation for these measures.

In conclusion, the residents of Qosh Tepa District declared their comprehensive support for the Islamic Emirate and affirmed that they will stand alongside this sharia-based government under all circumstances.
