The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Al-Haj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Arabia’s Delta International Company, Shahir Al-Taqi. The meeting was also attended by former U.S. Special Representative Zalmay Khalilzad.
During the discussions, both parties addressed matters related to the exploration, extraction, and expansion of gas pipelines.
The company’s CEO expressed his interest in investing in Afghanistan’s oil and gas sector and affirmed his commitment to sharing the company’s expertise with Afghan engineers.
